    halvoro10 the f-35 is a multi purpose plane designed for basically everything. Its not the best at everything but it isnt bad at anything. the f-35 is a freakin awosme plane. no wonder almost everyone in NATO is geting some.

    the landing gear was down because that is a rule for first time flight for all new planes also another rule is that u never test full speed at first flight...ask any real test pilot he can confirme this...learn more then u are allowed to post

    we saw that it can fly and also f-16, f-8, phantom, boing , airbus, birds , paper plains can fly too!! so where is the diffrence?? there was nothing shown about it's performance.... too bad...

  • sorry if my english is bad, but its late...

    this jet sux compared to, for instance f16. its way slower and heavyer and its only purpouse is to bomb. its a bomber. air to air it sux. Norway is planning to buy many of those planes as defence-planes. We got fast russian migs flying pass us (norway) all the time and then we send up f16s that can out-manouver the russians and check whats going on and what they want. But if we're gonna buy the f-35 we wont have much of an air-supremacy. its seems like the U.S just want many of us european countries wich are allies, to buy a lot of those planes and then use us when we're needed -> bombing iran etc whatever.

    well.. thats my opinion. i would like if we bought the eurofighter or the swedish Gripen. thats fighters for our purpouses.

    seems like the norwegian politicians just wanna buy the f-35 just to keep the good connection between our two countries.

    F-35 is the best fighter aircraft. it is equipped with Laser weapon and ready for star war. :P
    anyway it is the first fighter to use Laser weapon.

    get drag....landing speed 160mph.gear down.
