This is the dumbest thing I have seen in a long time. what the heck is the point? Prevent water damage? If they step on anything wet they'd kill themselves. and it doesn't cover the entire shoe, only a little tiny bit. for about the same amount as this device and the plastic costs, you can simply provide little preformed booties that you slip on like socks. Hell you might even save money. and it isn't like one would slip less than the other...GOD THIS IS DUMB

  every invention has reason behind, if you are not sure why this invented, you may ask question, but not criticize with some fault word, this is useful for manufacturing line in clean room, when control the amount of particles per meter cube, for example, disc manufacturer. And it is really troublesome for the engineers and operators keep changing the shoe cover when they come in and out.
  Do you really think the inventor of this machine is so stupic and never thinking of this may slip on the water? Come on, use comment sense you also know this shoe cover is not apply to wet floor.

  ... for some special purposes such as chemical and medicines manufacturing facilities, i work in one , and i can ensure you how dusturbing it is to cover my shoes , hair, and even my beard if i'm not shaved every time i am to go inside the isolated area
