something exploded under truck , meteor has been added on computer , it should shine more , and with this speed it would be hell on earth in place where guy with camera was standing

I actually had a Meteor roughly about 10 times the size of that one come shooting out of the sky with a noise like thunder while consumed in flames and crash straight into my back garden (at least i don't have to cut the grass anymore). My mates came round with a crowbar the next day and helped me lever it off my prize leeks. It managed to get it carted off in a wheelbarrow to the local chain-gang. The new swimming pool is great by the way, i had an umbrella fitted over it to ward off any more rude encounters with crash-course Meteors.
They should really fit one of those lazers in space to blast them to bits like the game Meteor does: my leeks could'nt take another strike like the last one.

if anyone here thought this was real...its not...heres why...its like a year old commercial...ive seen it many times. This comercial is for Toyota trucks. It showed a meteor hitting te truck and the truck survived to prove that Toyota's are powerful trucks...thatnk you and stop being retarted...good bye

You guys actually have to debate this one? This is for a car commercial that aired briefly about 6 months ago. It's just cut short. The film actually continues to show the suv driving near the impact site to show it's "toughness." Just in case any dummys out there still believe, the heat from the rock would have super-heated the air, completely burning the heck out of them. If not, it sure would have melted the tape a bit beyond viewing.

In any case, that was a great job. It looked so real. I like the car jumping over afterward. Nice touch.

Meteors leave white smoke and it would be traveling faster than sound. But you hear it just before it crashes. In reality it would hit and then you would hear the sound. Nice effect though.

I have to say, the first time I saw this commercial (drunk, might I add) I was momentarily freaked out. Most of the comments, are true but only one major point has been left out. The Sonic Boom that would have been produced by a meteorite that size would have rivaled that of the re-entry of the shuttle. That §hyte was hot as he££ though!! I love this commercial. Laughed my butt off the first time I saw it because your not expecting the meteor to hit. Oh and it is a Toyota Tacoma for all of those that thought it was a Ford. And the shrapnel that falls down at the end is one of the dirt bikes that was in the bed of the truck when it got hit by the meteor.
