This won't open all locks
some locks have keyholes so you can CHANGE the combo. They either change to the next preset combo or allow you to manually set the combo. If your lock is this kind the key will not open it.

i have a lock like that
at my school the only locks you can use are the ones you buy from the school, which have those key holes in the back so school admin can get in your locker whenever they want. i jammed mine up with gum though, so they'd have to cut mine to get into my lock lol... i've always wondered where you can get tools like that.

  Its not a hole some masterlocks have keys in case
  you forgot your combination or for quick access.
