The name of this music is "Drifting" you can see it ing the uppper left hand coner at approximatley 0:07. "Airtap" is the name of Mongraine's. Dose anybody know the name for this technique? Inventive and my hats off to this technique. I enjoy the richness of the music. Keep up the awsome play.

This guy is honestly the most original I've seen in over 40 years of playing.

There was an artist by the name Micheal Hedges who pioneered this style of guitar playing. Unfortunately he was killed in a car accident in 1999. But he left us with a number of amazing albums. Check out "Live on the Double Planet". He actually had a custom instrument called a Harp Guitar built for him --- talk about amazing, he played just like the above video but also played out a bass line (the Harp Guitar is a standard acoustic axe with a harp shaped extension off of the top with bass strings to be played by the thumbs between one's tapping and plucking).
