The name of this music is "Drifting" you can see it ing the uppper left hand coner at approximatley 0:07. "Airtap" is the name of Mongraine's. Dose anybody know the name for this technique? Inventive and my hats off to this technique. I enjoy the richness of the music. Keep up the awsome play.

The style is by far very original... I'd like to see him interpret other songs though. I get the sensation that his style may not work for other songs, styles or genres.... But hey Imay be wrong.

Man this guy is fantastic. a must see for any one who thinks rock is music. yeah it's fun to listen to but nowhere near the difficulty and nowhere near the satisfaction when yo u play. this guy is truly amazing. ive played for years and this style ive only seen one other place by a guy in australia. absolutely mind blowing. i gotta learn this style. are there any instructional videos or any type of learning tools for this or am i gonna have to figure it out on my own? lol ok. well i think i've made my point. WOW! can't say enough. way to go man.

There was an artist by the name Micheal Hedges who pioneered this style of guitar playing. Unfortunately he was killed in a car accident in 1999. But he left us with a number of amazing albums. Check out "Live on the Double Planet". He actually had a custom instrument called a Harp Guitar built for him --- talk about amazing, he played just like the above video but also played out a bass line (the Harp Guitar is a standard acoustic axe with a harp shaped extension off of the top with bass strings to be played by the thumbs between one's tapping and plucking).
