      so exactly what does having a passenger aircraft that can carry 1/4 or the passengers but can fly super sonic and never even breaking even cost wise? And we "Yanks" use larger carriers thatn other countries so dont need VTO aircraft, even though we do have some smaller fast attack carriers that use your slow and usless Harrier's that have to be escorted because there out matched by any fighter that gets near it. And didnt we "Yanks" just build in conjuntion with other EU countries a multi role VTO aircraft? Im not bragging just commenting on your low IQ remarks towards us "Yanks"...Peace!

      but by putting the huricane in the group you showed your not to up on the aircraft of the day. the huricane was a tougher aircraft than the spit and was used mainly against bombers. the spitfire was a nicer looking aircraft and although origanaly the design was from a racer it was not as fast as the p51 and not as stable a gun platform. not putting down the spitfire it was an awesome fighter and the nicest looking plane ever built beutiful wing on it.

      A Spitfire would probably be an even match, but a Hurricane? No way! A Hurricane was outclassed against a 109.

    i think that the story is fake!how come that the me 109 didn't fiered a single shot? and what happened whit the other 2 Me 109 (the one that dived and the one that climbed at the begining of the dogfight)?i don't think germans runed away.from what i have red they used to atak in "packs".a single plane didn't had eny chance.more oppinion please!

      didn't fire a single shot. because the p51 was never in range of his guns or not in his sights. the german pilot was smart enough not to waste amunition.
      what happened to the othe aircraft? does not matter to this story, its about bud attacking this me 109. the other aircraft were off someplace doing their own thing. they attacked in packs yes, but listen to what he says the p51 was more manouverable and faster. how do you deal with that in a 4 on 4? can't run they can catch you 50 mph faster.
