The song (anthem) features India's best musical talent in the voice of Shankar Mahadevan, music by Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy and lyrics by Gulzar. The major problem especially in rural areas is unhygienic environment due to open defecation. Around 80% of diseases arise due to open defecation. There are no legal bindings so far and it can only be controlled by some community led program. Villagers are, in fact, not aware of the serious diseases caused by open defecation and if we can make them understand by some or the other means , we can Lead India to an Open Defecation Free Country.
