    The recipe sounds good, but what about vanilla and something to give it a sweeter taste? Is it not supposed to be sweet? Granted there is some sweetness in the crust, but is that enough?

    • Mistake in recipe-- that's why...

      You're supposed to use SWEETENED condensed milk, not regular condensed milk. It's that version that gives the cheesecake the sweetness. Unfortunately, she forgot to mention that. Hopefully, she will come back and point that out in the comments.
