  • I guess the moral of the story is....

    When the police have you pulled over on a dark street, and they're giving you instructions to keep your hands in site, it probably isn't a good idea to pick that moment to make a stand on your "Rights". Its probably a better idea to just do what the Officer says. I've seen video tape of cops in situations like this, and let me just say its damned difficult to tell wtf some jerk-off has in his hand when he starts reacing into his pockets and flailing around. What would you do if you had no clue what some dude was about, its your job to reestablish order, and this guy isn't complying with what you're telling him to do. You gonna wait till he does pull his gun out and cap your ass? You think Michael Moore is gonna make a cute little documentary to give to your widow?

      while thats not a totally stupid idea, its just impractical. how do u expect to shoot a guy in the leg when he's probably either running or behind cover. and ill bet the criminal shooting at u wont grant u that humanity. and plus there has been many cases where an armed suspect is having such an adrenaline rush that they dont flinch from being shot in the arm or leg and continue shooting.

      Sheltered people think cops are so great,"they risk their lives protecting us". Its a job that they get paid to do,the real heroes are firemen,some of them DONT even get paid.     Once again Michael Moore has decided to show his ignorance and inability to think in a rational and clear manner. As a PEACE OFFICER I have had the very unpleasant and scary task of working the streets at 2:00 a.m. with no cover, and confronting person intent on KILLING me for no reason other then I stopped them for a traffic violation. I did what I needed to do to protect myself and go home to my family at the end of my shift. Unfortunately, this year two of my friends and co-works have been killed in the line of duty, both by gunfire! I dare Michael Moore to get his fat ass out on the streets of any city in this country and do my job for one night see how long he lasts before someone, anyone, at anytime puts a bullet in his ass with a wallet. In closing, rick-34….. I have NEVER wanted to shoot anyone, well maybe Michael Moore

    michael moore makes some good points in his other documentaries, but i think he went a bit overboard on this one, yes i'm sure some cops are a little trigger-happy but most are probably people doing their duty to protect the civilians

    i was in school in N.Y. where there was a big fuss about cops targeting african americans. No offense to anyone but im gonna agree with Mike on this one. I was raised there and i know how it really is. But i believe there is a reason: some cops gets bored because of the huge crime decrease that year and there were just too many cops. I remember when they pulled over my dad. They made such a huge fuss and there were over 4 cops there. Just for a speeding ticket lol
