  • Ok.....bats are NOT ...

Ok.....bats are NOT blind...they do have poor eyesight however. BUT....the cat getting the bat is a bad idea. Bats are about the NUMBER ONE transmitter of rabies. Every bat caught here in my county that was inside a home, had rabies. I hope the kitty has had her rabies shot..
Second: bats do a WONDERFUL job of eating pesky biting insects such as mosquitoes. If possible, do not kill a bat, but contain it in a bucket and transport it outdoors. They did right by sparing its life.

  • Those creatures get ...

Those creatures get into our home sometimes and I'm always left with the task of catching them. I went to a toy store and bought a child's bug net on a long pole to catch those rats with wings, which is what they look like to me.Yikes!
