    It's the 'stem' and seeds in English. "Stalk" and "pips" is British. Furthermore, it's spelled and pronounced 'core', not "coah".

      I guess I really never thought about what 'pips' were, or how many different definitions there are for this term, other than the 'Gladys Night and the....'
