  You're the one who has something to prove here.
  
  By the video you have made and what you have said, I highly doubt this is a reliable program. ALL http traffic is retrieved via port 80, and therefore there is nothing unique about this program. Even if it does work, it does not give you any easy option as what to block and what to allow.
  
  Best anti-ad fix = Firefox with AdBlock Plus. Open Source is always the answer.
