    Many photos such as this one were taken by planes flying over something (theres tons of photos in Africa, and in some of them you can see the shadow of the plane). As for what it is, i have no idea.

      I looked this up on Google Earth and actually, the little blue square is very visible from very zoomed out. But it can't be a while unless this whale was on steroids... I don't think that is the case. I looked on the scale and that whale would have to be 1500 feet long. I believe it is either a cloud or possibly a ship.
