Most of the brave soldiers who have came back from Iraq, are emotionally broken up. They didn't see all the "shock and Awe" stuff that is shown today. And what really matters it what happens on a day to day basis. They see mistakes made, crying to sleep each night because of little babies they see blown up in their "colateral damage" dreams. They believe they came to Iraq for a noble cause, and learned that the purpose for giving and taking life has engulfed them like being in the ocean, wave upon wave. Just look at their websites, read their cries, they don't feel this "F**k them attitude like some of our folks back home. I personally know dozens and dozens of soldiers who have returned from Iraq with a far different story than the press or TV news ever reports. In every case they report that the Iraqis are thrilled to have the coalition forces there helping them to acheive freedom. An overwhelming percentage of the Iraqi population fully support the war effort and want to eradicate the terrorist insurgents. The soldiers know that they have done a difficult but VERY GOOD task through their service. God bless them all!!

William, when I was in the USAF many years ago we referred to the British military as the "Blokes". It was a term of endearment. I served briefly with some Royal Marines on a NATO exercise in Turkey, and they wer great chaps. Beleive me, most Americans appreciate, and celebrate the Blokes standing with us in the present war. I am an American by citizenship, and British by birth. I have served in the U.S. Air Force for nearly 15 years, and I will say that my time spent in England and in the Gulf working with the British Military was among the best in my life. You don't hear us talk much about the British Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen, and this, I think, is a tragedy. They are truly some of the finest warriors on the face of the planet, and I am proud to serve along side of them. They uphold the values I fight for with honor and dignity. They are a credit to their country. Although these accolades are not shared nearly as often as they should be, rest assured, not one American servicemen who has spent time with our British counterparts believes any less.
