It’s been a rough weekend for T-Mobile Sidekick users. If they were unfortunate enough to accidentally remove their battery, users could have accidently deleted all of their phone data thanks to a server crash. Now T-Mobile has responded to the debacle, saying the problem has been fixed, but all data hasn’t yet been restored. What does this teach us about computing in the cloud, and how can we be more prepared? We talk to Eric Zeman of Phone Scoop and Maggie Reardon of CNET News.
