Crazy Motorbiker

Yea great ride if you get your thrills from endangering yourself and anyone else who might come across your path at a high rate of speed. As you seen the rider went in the other lane several times. If he wants to risk his life in a foolish manner that’s his choice, but what he was doing is similar to you going out in the road and shooting a rifle down your lane hoping it doesn’t go out side your lane and kill someone. Really gives a bad name to motorcycle rides, when it is just a few fools that are pulling crap like this.

NEVER is this bike going near to 300 kph. Have none of you driven at that speed? It will be near to 100 kph, not more. The driver crosses the white line to make it look risky, but it isn't at all, because his speed is quite moderate.

just incase anybody is interested, i live in the uk and all cars show mph instead of kph, if anybody's wondering then 299kph work out to be 185.38mph because the ratio is 1kph:0.62mph. sorry for boring anybody. just wanted to let people know

The motobikers aren't going away, and aren't gonna stop doing their racing on the streets. Just thought I'd add a comment of what I saw the other day. Speed on the Freeway is one thing where you don't have cars crossing your path. . . but on a saturday morning by the mall at noon? There is a CRAPLOAD OF CARS slowing to leave the road AND turning in front of you. This biker was racing a car off the line. . . couldn 't really even tell the car was participating but the bike wanted to show off his power so he gunned it off the line until he came to a violent skid, probably in his pants too right in front of a major shopping center where a vette was crossing all 3 lanes. He ALMOST nailed that car at 60! I had a front row seat to a near organ donor. Bikes, think about the speed around other cars in the city, know where emergency escape routes are at all times and stay alive.

If you see carefully, the cars coming from opposite direction don't even pass so fast!
If we drive at 100 km/h, we can see the trees running fast, and the objects (cars/buses, etc) running faster. If we speed at 300 km/h, the objects will move so fast.
In fact, the vehicles from opposite direction look so normal speed.
The motorbiker must be hack the speedometer! I'm very sure about it!

I lost 4 of my friends and all of them were bike crazy and they died speeding their bikes. 4 lives I knew were lost in past 5years just cauz of speeding.

When you lean the bike, the radius of the tyre that hits the road becomes smaller, hence the rpm and speedo will shoot up a little bit.

First of all it's a ZX10r eighter 04 or 05, the 06 has diff lcd screen, most of you guys talk S**t , and if you don't know bikes than stick to knittig jumpers for your grand kids.! the digial readout only go's to 299 (no number 3 for first) so all you dickheads that said it only go 299km *** go back to knitting** or find another site to comment on. your wasting my read time!!!!!!!

I would have really enjoyed watching that if it was on a track, but he risked the lives of others and I have no respect for people who ride that way in traffic!

Adrenaline rushes are great. I remember doing a lot of stupid S**t myself but you know why "old" people over 30 slow down and figure out safer ways to get a rush? They have seen their friends that didn't slow down either get maimed, killed or the worst of all, kill someone else and have to live with it for the rest of their life. This rider could have lost it in a blink of an eye. There is no control on public roads at this high of a speed. That is why racetracks are built. Eventually kids figure this out and become adults. Go nuts in your youth but at the same time don't endanger the lives of others like this mentally handicapped / immature rider and at least attempt to think of the consequences of your actions. You will get some respect that way.

If a hint of skepticism pops up in your tiny little brain about any of the videos that download from Metacafe and your tempted to decry it fake, stand up, put your hands in your pockets, face a wall 10 or more meters away, and sprint at it until you stop. Thank you very much.

We've done similar S**t on public roads for years. RG500 ~140hp, ~340pounds, 4cyl. 2-strocke. Way over 200km/h on fairly curvy roads - not a problem, but 3 things are obvious here: 1. As correctly mentioned before, the vehicles coming towards the biker are closing in way too slow fo the speed shown, the same goes for the side posts etc. 2. Towards the end, 3rd gear, >13K rpm and 238km/h? Come on! 3. The long left, about in the middle of the vid where he's on darker asphalt, the speedo shows about 250 and believe me, with this radius and this angle, there is no way that a bike with regular equipment would maintain a grip, not even with softer slicks.... well, and again, the passing cars give you an idea about the real speed.... ;^)

This person should have all access to any vehicle with an engine cut off completely, that includes toy vehicles.

when i got flat out, i normally go over 300 but my digital speedo max out at 299. i ride a honda fireblade on the desert highways with with my gang and we sometimes hit above 350.

Ive got some of his DVDs, theyre nuts, but sometimes really funny. Do a search for Ghostrider, all of his bikes are black, he wears all black and only the film crew know who he is. He does lap timing of entire regions! He pulled off a 250kmh mono/wheelie on a supercharged hyabusa!

Um sweeties from America.. 300Kph or about 185mph really is not all that fast. Granted that on a bike it is a bit more intense, but I have driven Stuttgart to Berlin hit peaks of 310kph, sadly here in germany the cars are capped at 240 kph, 280 kph and 310kph. a BMW 310i is maxed out at 240, and M3/M5 280, the High performance cars such as Porsche and Audi have upper limits in the 310s. 300 is fast but if you know what you are doing it is really not that bad.. i pity America and the maximum speed limit of 75 miles perhour.. must feel like a snail is dragging you face down across gravel..

Very nice .. this guy is comfortable on his bike. Stupidity is what causes accidents not a skilled rider or driver. I see 5 occurrences daily of old folk driving blind to their disruptions on the road. He could probably give all of you negative commenters a lesson or two on how to drive safely given the chance! This clip is a small piece of a dvd of Ghostrider (www. ghostridermovie .net/). It is recorded in europe on a Suzuki Hayabusa bike. It does 0 to 300 Kph (kilometres) in 12.9 sec's. And yes this is dangerous. But not inresponsible I think. The 4th dvd is coming out and for all i know, the driver has never fallen of his bike or made accidents. I'm not making an advertisement for these guys, but they are not your sunday morning amateurs. These guys know what they are doing! (i hope :) ) grtz!

doesn't looks to be at the speed that the panel says, in other hand there's a significant speed change on numbers but doesn't match with the sound and enviroment.
I have drived at 175 kph and looks more fast than those suposed 299 or 250 kph

to calculate the hp of a car or bike u need to know the weight ==>idiot u can speed at 300km/h just fine with a moto that have only 150 idiot

This guy seems to be very familiar with this portion of road. He anticipated many turns before they came by going wide, then drawing a somewhat decent apex. 100 kmh being 60 mph, he maxed out at around 180 mph, which I will agree requires a good amount of practice, gear, and some serious stones, but practice makes perfect (or at least pushing the envelope allows for improvement). How many nay-sayers abide strictly by the posted limits? How much is too much? The comment about him going into the opposite lane was from someone who doesn't know much about using the road to it's fullest. His range of sight is not limited by the camera, ours is. If you have ever gone above 10 miles an hour above the posted limit, you're just as guilty as he is. He, at least, practices to improve himself, and apparently uses recordings to self critique. How many of you can say that much?

Don´t know who of you already got a driver´s licence, but when going on a secondary road at about 160 Km, the cars would pass way faster than in this nice video. And, did you notice, in the end he was going 299 Km in a curve, then suddenly only 240 on the straight - but still with the same engine sound. Last but not least, I am riding an 1100 cc moto, and on my machine the revmeter is about twice as large as the speedometer - cause speed is less important than the right shifting moment. Anyway, cool hoax it is...

I have a friend working at PORSCHE and I showed him this movie.
He asked a lot of experts at PORSCHE and they began to calculate how the circumstances of this case must be.

Their testdrivers said, it's crazy to drive, but not impossible, the road is dry and clear...
They calculated out of the acceleration that this motorcycle MUST HAVE at least 160 kilowatts of power. This means over 210 horsepowers!

i'm sure, that the driver's fast. but the 300 km/h are not possible ! look at the cars the bikedriver is passing. if you pass another car for example on the highway, that goes much faster. in this video you see the cars on the other side of the street too long time. and one more thing is, that it's not possible to drive a curve with 299 km/h. no tire in the world will have enough grip for that. but anyway a crazy ride!

The odometer is KM/HR (not mile per hour.) The cyclist knew what you guys assume and he is smart. That is my opinion and you can't prove me wrong.

how much disregard do these people have for others on the road. One slip and this person may not only take out him or herself but also another innocent person. The road is there to share. Be sensible about it.

The first thing you have to realize is that KMH is not actually a good measure of speed. May I suggest that you fools switch from your current system to MPH, like in America. This is the future. Also, it would be nice if you Euros would get rid of that METRIC stuff. No one is interested in that, and it is the playground of fools. Just trying to be helpful.

The sad thing is that if you shoot that motorcyclist pulling that stunt, you are going to end up in jail. We need laws that open up for termination of individuals like that. To drive in such a fassion is terrorism, as it may cause death or severe injury to innocent people.

Those were kilometrs per hour, not miles, on the German highways is no speed limit, little or no traffic, enjoy the bike and the ride, why not?
