worlds tallest giraffe.
During my game drive I must have seen at least 50 giraffes, but this guy was just huge. It was like looking up at a building. The trees that he was grazing on were at least 30 feet tall. I got pretty close to this guy. I was just 15 feet away from him when i shot this video. I had to stick my body up out of window of the game vehicle to get a clear vertical shot of him because he was so tall. Unless you know of an even taller giraffe, let me know!

    i took a photo in front of one. I spotted him when i did a bush walk in the panzi bush camp in africa. i got pretty close. you have to be careful because this is the african wilderness and they are wild. in zoos they are tame and used to people. I did alot of dangerous things when i was in africa. ha ha
    i am 6 foot 3 and he was so much taller.
    they are amazing animals.

    wow,,,still can't believe this...crying....i've seen the tallest one of all the zoos i visited,,,he was 5.4 m tall...and i am 1,79m tall,and i just marched his front leg.i am crazy about this animal

  • i was in the back ...

    i was in the back seat of the game vehicle
    when i took the video of this big boy i had to point it almost directly vertical and stock my head out the window. that is how tall he was. it is easy to determine how tall he was because those trees he walked by are 30 feet high. if you look at his head as he walks by them he is just as tall. he was a very big guy. ha ha.
