spoodle is a device designed specifically for catching Skyfish
(skyfish is known as "Flying Rods" )

(Using the Spoodle)
1) Egg giving
Two boiled eggs are placed in the ends of the spoodle and jigged in the sky to lure Skyfish down close enough so that they can be grabbed.

2) Decoy shaking
The Skyfish decoy is floated in running water and the spoodle used to control its movement and position. When the real Skyfish see the decoy they think they are looking at a friendly fish and fly in the greet it when upon they can be captured.

3) Spoodle trapping
The spoodle is place in a position where Skyfish are likely to pass and left there as a trap.
