      I hope you're not going to try and come on with any of that millions and billions B.S. There is just no such distance or time table concerning this universe that reaches into the billions or trillions. These figures are merely used to boggle the mind and when you talk about the nearst star being some kind of billion light years away this is simply a nonsensicle number basically impossible to refute, so don't believe everything you hear. Remember The THEORY of Evolution is no more than an Atheistic ploy to attempt to explain away the Creator and Creationism. Which the "Theory" in fact has been proven a hoax many times over by Secular and Creationist Scientist since the turn of the century (1900's).

      Scientific theory is not the same as the generally accepted non-scientific definition of theory. In more than 2000 years, religion has been wrong about every science that it has tried to challenge. Gravity is still called a "theory", do you wish to challenge that?

      The Earth IS billions of years old, evolution is demonstrated to be fact, from the fossil record, the Grand Canyon was not carved out by the supposed "great flood" (which never occured outside of what is now the Black Sea), Jesus was a mythical character who's life is a copy of the thousands of years older story of Gilgamesh.

      You really do need to reference science and history since the Bible is fiction and parable, neither of which will hold up under close examination.

      If you want to believe a fairy tale then, it's a free country. But it takes a good imagination to believe that everything in existence is purely coincidental, and just happened to blow up and together. At what time in this cosmos did everything stop 'evolving' / improving phase and start rusting, rotting, and biodegading?

      You must have missed the famous lesson from all the back in the 70's where Carbon Dating was debunked: a small portion of a living clam's shell was sampled and dated to be 50 million years old. Or all of the 'cave man' fossils that have been shown as false and even intentionally staged, such as the former missing link scam were a 'cave man' was constructed from three bone fragments one of which turned out the be the tooth of an extinct pig ! Ect. ect. LOL !
      Believe as you will just "simmer down now", Ha ha ha.
