Did you know: a Pit Bull named Petie starred in the popular children's television series, Our Gang; a Pit Bull mix named Stubby became a decorated WW1 hero. Pit Bulls accompanied pioneer familes on their explorations. Laura Ingalls Wilder of the popular Little House books owned a working Pit Bulldog named Jack. Famous individuals like Theodore Roosevelt and Helen Keller owned the breed. It was during this time that the Pit Bull truly became America's sweetheart breed, admired, respected and loved.

I read many comments about pit bull, many saying that pit bull are vicious dogs. I don't agree with that: it is better to talk about some vicious owners. They are the ones to be blamed! They are dangerous, for the people next to them and for their dogs too.

I am sorry that you are so ignorant. I trust my pit bulls with my life. I foster pit bulls and I have a one year old daughter. Every pit bull I have opened my home to has been nothing but gentle with her. I also work at an animal hospital where I am faced with these vicious pit bulls that do attack. Of course by the time they get to us they are so tore up from a dog fight they can not move. Really, ask yourself who is the real criminal. The family who owns a pet that happens to be really strong, and loyal. Or is it the gangsterl that trains its dog to kill for a living?

How can this dog not be classed as dangerous, she is able to be spun around from her mouth, and it does say "she dosen't want to let go". One day it will be a child in her mouth. No animal should really be trusted.
