we done this experiment in 6 grade
it forms a sfere , but only in a glas like that, at the top of the glass is a litlle grees from your hads , and yes there are 1000 pins in there

Physics.........
The volume of the pin shall be the volume of water that popping up from the lips of the glass like a pregnant mum. The pin are made from metal and surrounded with water where blocked by the glass and it create mini gravity environment where thats explain why the water dont spill. Good experiment. But I actually dont even know what I am talking ahahahaHAHAHAA! Good day!
