Master Ge Chunyan is one of the greatest masters of our time. A true woman, a devoted Daoist and an incredible martial artist.

She studied Contemporary Wushu at Beijing University of Sports, the same college Jet Li attended. She graduated with honors and eventually became the Head Coach of the Beijing Wushu Team.

She studied Traditional Wushu as well. She is a disciple of Sun Zhijun which is one of the most respected Baguazhang Masters in the world today.

Ge demonstrates the style known as Youshen Baguazhang in this video. This style utilizes a very special kind of Daoist Qigong called Youshengong (Swimming Body Skill) and it is characterized by its hypnotic and flowing movements. It is also a devastating fighting art. Enjoy.
