  i have nothing but respect for the guys playing the instruments ebcause they do all the work .. they are real masters and i'd love to hear them anytime .. but .. modern music? he added a stupid techno beat and bassline and he suddenly is an artist? a visionary? give me a break...

  u have no idea what ur talking about. Yanni is a self-taught pianist and one of his ablums was nomitated with a Grammy. Besides being a great artist he's an athlete and a very clever person. Quite frankly i don't see u in the near future accomplishing no where near half the stuff he has.

  This is Vivaldi's Four Seasons or at least music deeply inspired by this concert. Beginning of 18th century. Very modern indeed. I like Vivaldi's music and this is interesting interpretation although I prefer the classical one.

Yanni isn't what he seems to be...
Like other greeks abroad Yanni used to be more a playboy and a studio musician. He knew with his rather limited skills as a musician (a great swimmer in his youth though) he would never make it to the "olymp". However, when he met actress Linda Evans in the early 90's he realized that she could help him to gain coverage on mainstream programs. Linda fell in love with that much younger and goodlooking man and pushed away the fact that he only used her and had other affaires. Linda got warned by many of her friends and even married him. She got financially and emotionally almost ruined when she finally woke up and realized that Yanni's female friends weren't just girls working at the studio.
