A building demolition does not go as planned when the building fails to go all the way down. What a disappointment to the crowd who was waiting for the big show.

In Sioux Falls, South Dakota
I was there last year when they did this. It was pretty awesome watching the building go down and then rock a little before settling. This was a grain bin that was built in the 50's I believe. They said that the bottom walls were 5 ft thick I think. What happened is that when they took out the bottom section of wall with the explosives, the rest of the buildings walls sank into the basement and that's what held it up.

- Or at least they should...
  ...the guy who let this happen is a maniac who probabily knows a lot about explosives but doesn't know the first thing about safety procedures, redundancy of charges, etc.
