You are wrong. There are a lot of street legal cars out there faster. One of them is 1500 horse Mustang, which also sounds much better. I hate the sound of these damn buzz bombs, and they won't stay together either. Sorry man.

There are some Lingenfelter Vettes running 8's. 9.06 is really friggen quick though, nice car.

if it were'nt for homegrown drag racing there would be no john force, ask him, you're comparing apples to oranges, anybody with 100 million dollars can make a car run 4 sec. hove you ever heard of fuel altereds jackass? they are outlawed in the u.s. because they are too fast for the tracks, they have to detune them just to run 5 sec 1/4 miles, by the way they were doing that in the 50's.

A Ford Sierra with a Cosworth V8 engine did it @ 7. something secs, and i forgot what model it was but they did a 6 sec time with a 4 cylinder engine. I'm not impressed.. have you ever heard a cossie roar??

The fact of the matter is that hes still using the stock 6 speed and not taking the easy way out by using a American automatic. And the fact that he drives the piss out of it.

What is the point in drag racing... quickest in a straight line doesnt mean anything, Anyone can stick the biggest turbo and the best suspension on a car. In order for a car to be the quickest, it must race round a track. There are always new track records being set. So unless you think you can beat a real drag racer, or go faster than 600mph... There is NO POINT!

With that 2 second reaction time, anyone can beat him. That was one of the worst runs I have ever seen. Anyone who knows drag racing knows what I'm talking about.
