it doesn't ask "what am i?" it just asks "can you guess it?" a kindergartener would get tired of figuring it out and say "no" and give up. but a Harvard student is much more arrogant and will struggle with it for long periods of time. the answer is.... "pressure" get it?
Polar bears are white because the pressure at the poles is low, so they have to be able to absorb heat.
Pressure makes you cry if it's too much.
Pressure in your bladder makes you have to pee.
Peer pressure makes girls comb their hair.
Celebrities usually crack under pressure.
Many normal people will shine under pressure.
Pancakes turn brown thanks to pressure generated by the heat.
Champagne will bubble until the pressure of the carbonation has disappeared.

You're right polar bears are white because of pigmentation, but that pigmentation was developed do to adaptation having to do with the weather and/or the pressure of their habitat.

... well the Harvard grad would try to give an "answer" ...while the child would make "guesses". Eventually the child would say "that's my guess" or "you asked me to guess" in frustration, thus answering with the right response for "can you guess the riddle?"

the answer can be nothing, if absolutely nothing in the world satisfies all of those conditions. In other words, there is no answer so nothing can satisfy ALL of the conditions. The riddle asked for what can do this AND that. So even if something can do a and something else can do b, as long as nothing can do both a and b, the condition isnt satisified and the answer is nothing.
