  i have not done a strap install however i plan to do one on my new RN project this winter. I have some SS washers w/acorn nuts welded to them. and plan to epoxy them where i want my straps to be located.

  it should hold. i know several guys running foot strap set ups that have used epoxy to hold the mounting nut/washer. However, i also know of guys installing the mounting nut under the tray, which requires cutting your tray to install them. definitely a stronger set up, but for the average recreational user it overkill.

I ordered 24/7 2003 footholds and they didn't come with a template. I was wondering if you can send me one via email if you have it scanned on your computer so I can just print it. Thank you for the helpful video.

  Mike, I'll check to see if i have one around. 24/7 was recently sold to a new owner so things may have changed. If I don't have a template you may want to give the new owner a call and ask him.
