    That's the most IGNORANT racially biased comment I have seen. Pure ignorance. The bitch wouldn't cooperate, at all, despite being told she was under arrest. The "white" cop did what he did, as a "minor use of force," in order to protect his fellow officer from a brawl with the, at that point, "defendant." Both officers "could" have tried to struggle with her and pull from the car, but the risk of physical injury is pretty high, in taking that route. Racial? ... B.S. ! - 7 yrs. Law Enforcement on the streets of Houston, I know better.

  • This was handled correctly

    Imo, the Police did what they should.
    The Police should be in control of the situation and I understand the line of work, risking your life everyday.

    When they told her to get out of the car, she wanted to "argue", claiming she was not drunk. The Police officer told her dozens of times to get out of the car before she moved. When the Police tells you to get out, you get out, simple as that. Once she stops listening and obeying direct orders, the Police loses control of the situation and need to take nessesary actions to regain.

    Once she finally gets out of the car, she has in theory refused to obey direct orders several times by stalling and talking/arguing. This is enough reason for the Police to handcuff the person as long as their cause is valid, in this case suspicious drunk driving, see the crashed car.

    The woman does not understand the situation and keeps on saying she is going out volunteerly but she has already shown she does not obey direct orders. Neither does she want to be touched when the Police officer takes her arm, saying he will need to help her out. This is because he is already going to handcuff her, she does not understand.
    This leads to yelling and refusing to cooperate and the Police is intitled to take action, which they do.

    This one was far from cooperative on any step in the process. Do not obey, suffer the consequences..

    She got out of the car voluntarily. She only became vocal when they began handling her (unneccessarily). She was unarmed as anybody could see. Why the taser? She wasn't resisting until they began to handle her physically. If she had been manhandled by a male before this would be a normal and healthy response. The fact of the matter is this: she had no weapon. She was in no way a threat to the cops. But they used a taser to tame her. Better hope it's not you next time.

    While this does look brutal to some, you gotta think about the cops situation. I hate cops but they had one of several choices

    1 Pull a gun and possibly shoot an unarmed woman

    2 Use physical force (night stick) to detain the woman which would have looked really bad on TV for the department as a whole and on the cop personally. I mean no matter what they can't man handle a woman, it's just not right.

    or

    3 Use a non-lethal totally approved piece of equipment to subdue an increasingly beligerent woman until she was no longer a threat to them or herself.

    I think the cops are in the right.

Cops don't have the friggin time to stand there and plead and beg some drunken MORON to get out of a car. Whoever thinks that the cops didn't do the correct thing in this situation is a moron. She had MORE than ample opportunity to comply and TOTALLY refused to. The cops COULD have taken the OTHER alternative ( since peaceful talking obviously wasn't working) and RIPPED her physically out of the vehicle and slammed her on the ground for obstruction.     why don't they first listen both sides before taking an action. That poor lady for some reason bit somebody,
    and he like a girl complained to cops, and cops ask her
    to come out of the car, where did she get a chance to at least speak for herself, and when she was trying to speak the cop who is a man, dominated over her voice. Thats not justice. While she was getting down, the second cop held her hand, she obviously did not like it, poor woman had to fight against two adamant cops. such a shame.
