I wrote this song out of a desire to tell the world why we, as believers, worship the way we do. Our culture is so accustomed to reserving our biggest cheers and claps for ball games, and our best dance moves for weddings, and our best songs for karaoke night at the local bar. Yet when it comes to singing, dancing, and clapping in churchwell, it makes some people very uncomfortable. Heres the thing. God created EVERY art form for the purpose of glorifying him. Hes the mastermind behind dance, art, music, and poetry. Its the world who has polluted these art forms, and made us feel somehow that they dont belong in church. I am a firm believer that we need to cultivate the creative gifts God has given us, and offer them back to God in worshipout of our deep love for Him, and because of His extraordinary love for us. Michele also wrote the song and created the video that is helping to change the world "Change it Together" also featured here on YouTube. Her song "This Ordinary Life" is a driving inspiration.
