Can we get off the Rossi band wagon. I remember when he was riding 250gp and nobody cared.
Then Mick retires after almost losing his leg. Rossi moves into his spot a few years later.
The best racer this decade is still Doohan. Rossi will have to win 6 Titles in a row to take that spot.

THE RACE DID NOT REALLY MATTER - ROSSI WON CHAMPIONSHIP THAT YEAR ANYWAYS AND GIBB'S ONLY CAME OUT OF HIS SHELL CAUSE HIS TEAMATE DIED THAT YEAR. I really don't think 30 laps on a GP bike, Compares to a 3 Hr Nascar race with a 2500lb care on your ass going 190mph. One reason you have to sessions on bikes. That and the tires are gone after 20 laps.5572509 - 1

comment about them crashing? It is the scariest thing that can happen to a person, I've been there and it S**ks . You have no clue how difficult it is to ride a bike to the limit and make it look flawless. Some of the best athletes in the world, and yes they are athletes. It is incredibly taxing to race a 220 horsepower bike like that for 40 minutes. You are an a s s !!!!!!!
