Keep looking at the big green tree between the boys in the background. You will see the tree flicker when the ball is out of screen. This is known as the splice like mentioned above. Did have me fooled the first time i seen it, the boys reactions looked genuine lol!!

This is fake. You can see where the ball goes out of frame and the flicker of the splice.
