My brother and sister in law have always had Halloween parties, as long as I can remember. They started calling the parties "Eakfest" some years back. A few years ago those parties almost came to a end; it was when they found out that their daughter (my niece) had Cystic Fibrosis. After the initial shock, they began the fight; and Eakfest is part of that fight. Eakfest took on a new meaning in 2008; that was the first one. It changed from being a fun Halloween get together - to a fun Halloween get together with a higher purpose and a deeper meaning. It takes a lot of work to put it all together, and I have the utmost respect for them, especially after experiencing it first hand. I was proud to be there and put this video together. Enjoy.

  • The Cystic Fibrosis ...

    The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation makes a huge difference in people's lives. That is why this event and many others that benefit CFF are so important. They are making medical advances that are giving people a much higher quality of life. Thanks for your concern; and yes Jolie was asleep at home. I would not want her to have doggy nightmares and be running from monsters in her sleep all night. :)

  • CFF is awful...a ...

    CFF is awful...a friend/cowworkers daughter had it & finally got her lung transplant after years of waiting, they announced it on the PA at RI Health Dept Lab where we work . You could hear cheering through the building. Happily she is doing well many years later. Hope your niece does too...excellent video. Creativity obviously runs in the family. Hope sweet little Jolie was asleep @ home. Eakfest would give her the willies!!! And she might ingest another bad jellybean..HORRORS!
