    but if you have hard water, you should buy a softener...I like the spot free 1000 portable filter. It retails around 200 and lasts virtually forever.

    We have level 4 water restrictions at the moment, so that means no hoses! What do you think about high pressure hoses found in public car wash places? Or since we are allowed to use buckets, maybe I should use them instead?

      We have a simular issue with the water restrictions, however that that extreme. The problem you will have is that you have to skip the rinse steps, meaning that when you wash your car with the sponge and you may damage the paintwork, producing swirl marks.

      Only way to get around this is to use a good WAX, i would recommend purchasing a wax with a good Carnauba Content. You want the "Paste" type of wax, they come in 350ml containers and are a hard block of 30% carnauba wax. These need to be kept in the fridge, when you rub the wax with you finger it begins to melt allowing you to apply to the car.

      This will provide a very strong protective layer between your paintwork and grime.

      I plan to do a video of this however it requires alot more effort as i need to do alot of pratical demonstrations.
