lol, a small hint for everyone: YOU CAN'T REPAIR BROKEN HARDWARE WITH SOFTWARE.

the only thing this programm does is to disorientate you, so you can't find your pixel back.

    long live computer quacks ^^

(and yes, I have a dead pixel too and I've tried, so far for his 99%)

Stop Being an Idot you have no idea what your talking about:

Dead Pixle are Pixle that CAN NEVER BE FIXED THERE ALWAYS BLACK!

Stuck Pixles CAN BE FIX AND ARE VERY COMMON!
Stuck Pixles and pixles that disply a color but its no relavent to your screen.

    • =)

=) y, but dead pixels are black, mine is green, so it's "stuck" (dunno why I've said dead pixel =/) and not all "stuck" pixels will be repaired.
The only type of pixel of which there is evidence it can be repaired is the lazy pixel, a pixel not yet started to function right, you can help it start functioning.
Also, this way of "reviving" your pixel isn't the best one, there are quite a lot ppl who run this program for several hours, but it makes more stuck pixels ~~

well, I'm quitting to reply on this ;D either you believe in it, or you don't....

    • you are almost right

most of times it doesn't work but i have seen it in psp and it makes a difference. the pixel was almost fixed but after some time it comes back. I have also heard that it fixed 2 of three stuck pixels on another psp. really, I have seen it

    • You can...

...fix this one. It causes the pixel to be sent multiple signals in a high rate so it get's unstuck.

    • =/

lol, you really believe it. Like I've said, I've tried it on my own screen (and yes, it has a dead pixel, a green one) and guess what: it didn't work.

there are 2 working solutions for the pixel problem:
      - send it back
      - throw it out of the window (really, you won't see the pixel anymore!)
      (look jscreenfix isn't with those!)

If this would work, they would have put it in the hardware of the screens, would spare them a lot of send back material.

    • (why can't I edit my own comments ^^)

some ppl say it works, true, but I've also found things like this:

      ClimaX

01.07.05, 16:48 lol damn, it gave me another stuck pixel when i ran this video :( . In a way this is good cause i know that if it is stuck, theres a chance for it to be fixed

and it does not work with my screen, so I think it's nonsense. (the 99% chances are nonsense 2, I've checked some sites, and if you look to the comments, you would say like 40-50%, not much ~~)

  • LCD.......

I'll take my Crt monitor any day! Dont have to put up with dead pixels or ghosting. Lets face it..... the only thing a lcd has on crt's is its size.

    • yeah

I use a 19" AOC CRT and it is very good.
but a good LCD with zero pixel warranty and quality picture will be better for your eyes health and more relaxing for your eyes.

I'll never replace my Dell Trinitron P1110 21 CRT Ultra high resolution!!!!!

    • False....

I'll bet you a dollar you will. If you can make a CRT last forever, you're doing something amazing.

    • It's almost

10 years old and on everyday, and the picture is still great, looks better than ALL LCD monitors and a refresh rate of 120 HZ on 1280 X 1024.
Im only 20 years old,so this is almost half my age.
Its glare proof too.....this thing will probably still work when im dead.

    • Wow...

...that's a pretty sparkling testimonial. Given the heat that thing must give off, that's amazing. I suppose I'll have to keep my eye out for that model on Craigslist / Ebay / whatever... thanks for the tip!

  • Just a few seconds?

I read somewhere it takes up to 6 hours of running that video! Well whatever I'll try it anyways and see if it works. :)

  • Fortunately

I don't need it. My 19" WS LCD is 100% perfect. I am going to bookmark that site, just in case.
I would guess it can't do anything about a dead pixel.
    I give it a 5.
