Palace of BEYBERLEYI - Istanbul Turkey

Beylerbeyi Palace in Istanbul, Turkey, has been projected in the Baroque style Ottoman period and built between 1861 and 1865 by members of the Balyan family of Sultan Abdül Aziz. Existira here a previous Palace and gardens had been designed by Murat IV in 1639. As the Ottoman Empire grew the palaces proliferavam in grandeur and pride. Abdül Aziz built this Palace as a place of recreation to entertain, dignitaries and realezas.
The Empress Eugenie of France (wife of Napoleon III) was the guest of the Palace in 1869, when he was there to inaugurate the Suez Canal.
The room more attractive is the reception hall, with source and swimming today without water. The water was very popular in Ottoman houses due to sound pleasant produced and refreshing effect.
The Crystal candelabros are almost all of Bohemia.
Gardens, which has a spectacular view over the Bosphorus Strait, are magnificent.

O Palácio de Beylerbeyi, em Istambul, na Turquia, foi projectado no estilo barroco do último período Otomano e construído entre 1861 e 1865 por membros da família Balyan sob as ordens do sultão Abdül Aziz. Existira neste local um anterior palácio e os jardins já tinham sido projectados por Murat IV em 1639. À medida que o Império Otomano crescia os palácios proliferavam em grandiosidade e orgulho. Abdül Aziz construiu este palácio como um local de lazer para entreter dignitários e realezas.
A imperatriz Eugénia de França (mulher de Napoleão III) foi hóspede do palácio em 1869, quando esteve aí para inaugurar o Canal do Suez.
A sala mais atractiva é o salão de recepção, com fonte e piscina, hoje sem água. A água corrente era muito popular nas casas otomanas devido ao som agradável que produzia e pelo efeito refrescante.
Os candelabros de cristal são quase todos da Boémia.
Os jardins, dos quais se tem uma vista espectacular sobre o Estreito do Bósforo, são magníficos.
