The Langobard tribe migrates to the Pannonia region, which was located in modern Hungary. Warfare with another tribe two or three times it's size did not seem to present much of a problem for them, as they often killed ten to one.

    Yes, and I think that was a small tribe of Winniler against the much bigger Vandals. I have read 'History of the Lombards', but I still have to read 'Origo Gentis Langobardorum'.

    Great ! They fought against the Vandals, that impose them tribute or war
    They said : It is better to maintain liberty by arms that to stand here by the payment of tributes. And the war began.... they won, thanks to the help of the Gods ( battle well explained in the ancient text Historia Langobardorum), but later they decide to move to a more quiet place, where build up their new reign. And they move to the alpine regions of Northern italy, where they ancestors are still here to honour them
