  Soap Makes water wetter which breaks the surface tension between the needle and the water...That is why we use soap to clean with.

  What do you mean by Wetter? I was under the impression that we used soap to clean with beacuse there is a polar and non-polar end to the soap molecule, which attracts oils and dirt on the non-polar end, and water on the polar end.
