  • VERY BASIC level training from a dog so ...

    I will give one compliment here. The dog had an excellent bite position that time. However, once again, the dog failed to release and the decoy simply removed the suit top. Last time I checked, real bad guys don't actually wear bite suits. So if that's not what you would do in the real world, why would you do it in training?

    Also, the handler stands back and gives the dog the command to release. This is fine, but this is Level 1 type training, the bare basics.

    Ideally, the handler should be able to enter the "fight" with the dog still maintaining the bite, control and detain the individual, and give the dog the command to release off'-leash.
