Each episode of Soul Survivors traces the journey of an individual who has endured a life-changing tragedy or hardship and now thrives as an inspiration to others. With reenactments and heartfelt testimony, we learn how disaster struck and he impact it had on the person's life and their family. We also discover the catalyst that eventually lead them out from the darkest days of their ordeal and into the light. Importantly, Soul Survivors is a TV program about the power of individuals to draw from their faith to achieve new heights in spite and because of their circumstances. From a middle-aged antique dealer who looses her sight only to become a licensed minster and an official advocate for the blind, to a cancer survivor who devotes his time to rehabilitating children with disabilities, these are people who have come to see their own trials as opportunities to serve. Throughout the show we turn our cameras to the uplifting work they currently do--vocations that not only drive their own healing but also bring hope to those they touch.

Soul Survivors embraces the human struggle to overcome the suffering that life often brings with personal stories of sorrow turned into triumph.
