I made and used this with safe ink, but should i be worried? The tattoo is only about an inch and a half by an inch. I washed the string every time before i started tattooing with 91% alcohol and washed the skin that i was tattooing with it as well. I covered the area for a week after.

At least buy some real and tubes and needles for it.They'd adapt easily enough.Besides that I kinda like the idea of a nice pen shaped gun.But maybe consider a quality made toothbrush ;)

The string will break and get stuck in the sking you can try in with a sewing needle though!

dont think a guitar string would be capable of piercing the skin,best off putting a sewing needle on the rubber cap.
probs wouldnt have enough whack to put the ink under the skin.go for the old tape recorder and biro pen homemade tat gun.

well i tried to make the same exact thing step by step but guess what didnt work. so i deciuded to take it in my own hand and made an even simpler soulution. i ...... well ill be putting a video on metacafe on a simpler tatto gun adn hopefully ill make my own dough from it
