To see this make me very sad because i have a girlfriend in madrid. And there was also a bomb threat in sol while i was there.

Here's the thing: there are too many people and too many govermenets (mainly in Europe - including Spain) who are trying to "understand" the terrorsists and are afraid to condemn the extremen Islam. I personally think that any human being who tries to even indirectly semi-justify the acts of terrorists has to be killed. Im sorry, but I am pretty damn sure that American and Israeli soldiers do not kill thousands of innocent children. They follow basic war rules, which means respecting prisoners and not killing innocent people. When an Iraqi soldiers kills an American, it is war. Wow people take more note of a terrorist attack that takes down several sky scrapers and kills over 3,000 people then a train station bomb that takes out 191 people. That makes no since it must be because Americans are selfish. You have to compare that attack to one of similar size. No one made a big deal about the first World Trade Center attack 2 years before 9/11.
I mean if you can’t see a difference between knocking down skyscrapers and killing thousands and taking out a train and killing less then 200 you are dumb. Do you really expect other countries to make a bigger deal about an attack on Spain that kills 200 people then they make about an attack on themselves that kills 200 people?
I mean it was on the news when it happened. People sent condolences. No aid was really sent because it was a small enough attack it wouldn’t make since. It wasn’t that big of a disaster.
