    • Hehe

Maybe I should make a video called "Jennifer's Hands" where I do ordinary household chores like peel potatoes and scrub pots XD

    • You do have sexy hands

I would love watching your hands work at my house, but not doing dishes. I would watch you make those balls for my tree next yr. Come on over, I will pay you. My wife could use the company. She just said she would like to start some sort of business in crafts just last week. Seriously, I am going to show her this video. She will be thankful to you. Great video and looking forward to seeing more of your hands. ;-)

  • another question

if possible, could you make another video on how to do the last step for the single piece

    By joshuaguinto 1180353930
  • i don't get it

don't get the very last step..tuck in the sides and fold the point down at each of the four corners.

    By joshuaguinto 1180298742
    • This seems to be a problematic step for ...

In this last step, you are not making any new folds, but allowing the paper to fold again on the folds you made earlier.

Looking at the corner of the paper, allow it to fold along the diagonal line that goes to the center. Then, allow to fold inwards so that the point you are looking at becomes slimmer. Then, fold the point down so it goes into the center. Hope this makes it a bit clearer.

    • I don't get it.

Are there any pictures that I can see for this step? I promise that I will make one, but I can't if I don't know how to. Please help!

  • Always wanted to make one

Thanks for the informative video. I always wanted to make one, but it seemed so hard. The video actually makes it look much easier than the books do. Good job with the video production.

    By jessfres 1171148409
    • Yeah, the diagrams in books do look diff...

However, once I figured it out, it was easy. It's just time consuming.

  • Not to be rude

But why do you have so much time on your hands ? You seem like a highly intelligent woman and from your hands don`t seem seem to be unattractive woman. Anyone would think you would have a wonderful man taking you out or something ? Anyway you seem way to intelligent to be sitting around the house making videos of such art when it seems like you should be doing so much more with your life . And yes I`m single so I have no life , LOL .

    • Everyone has a hobby, right?

Or if they don't, they should :)

Through this hobby I've learned to make pretty ornaments, use the video camera, and edit films on the computer.

*AND* I have now made over 100 dollars from people like you watching this film :)

  • this beign an origami?

I really couldn't say this as an REAL origami due the fact that you are using glue to attach the pieces together..
Origamis main idea is to be made only with hand and not to cut or glue it..
Still nice looking ball I have to admit.

  • Im about to finish it..

however, your video was kind of hard to understand, your hands got too much in the way, im not saying it to be mean, but thats a big problem. i understood it because I like origami and ive done it before, for the last part i definately HAD to search up another video, since it was really unclear in yours, but thank you, it is coming out really nice =)

    • Thanks for your comments

Other people have had problems with this video too, it was one of my early efforts. Sometimes I think I'm explaining clearly enough, but of course I already know how to make these things :)

Anyway, I'm glad you have figured it out :)

  • Very nice but....

I still think is much better to buy it from the market

    By Frka 1169201708
    • If you can find them :)

I haven't ever seen them ready-made for sale anywhere. Kits for making them are common though, which include instructions and string for hanging.

Folding can be fun! Why not give it a try? :)

  • Nice post

And you really do have nice hands. If possible, can you make a paper car!?

    Mine's been actin' up :)

  • Nice idea, but

I better get started now for next yr????? God bless anyone with this kind of patience. They are pretty, but time consuming. Too much for me! Thanks for presenting it for those that would like to learn.

    By mnmgal 1169009625
    • Yes, it does take a while.

I made most of the pieces for the two balls in the video while watching (well, mostly listening to) television at the same time. If one piece takes about 5 minutes to fold, you can do enough for a ball in about 3 hours. Better yet, get the whole famly folding!

    • Looking foward to the cube

I can teach grandma that too. I am looking forward to seeing how that is made. Is the cube for a tree too? Maybe if it is I can start grandma off on that first and then work her slowly into the ball? That ball looks very complicated!

      By mnmgal 1169070230
    • Good idea

The problem is it would take me 3 hours just to learn how to fold 1 of those cute balls. Imagine teaching the family? But maybe I will learn and teach my 94 yr old grandma and let her make some? She is still with it and has the time. It would make her proud if all the family had these hanging on her tree! Thanks for giving me a great idea.

great stuff. keep em coming.. how do you fold a cube? just wondering

    By Jabulon 1168996831
    • I'll do a cube next!

A cube can be made of six pieces, so it takes a lot less time :)

How could someone come up with such a design?! LUCK?!! I dont think so!! but maybe!!!
