I am a soldier and I don't get paid to kill. I volunteered to defend your right to make an ass of yourself with those types of comments with no fear of reprisal. sometimes that unfortunately involves killing EVIL people. Tough for them, but your/my freedom is not free. Everything has a price tag. think about it...98% of the people in this world are sheep (good, hard working people). 1% are sheep dogs (soldiers or guardians) and 1% are wolves (terrorists, evil people). Travis, which one are you? I think probably a sheep. BTW Travis, would you put your life on the line for a total stranger? Could you be a sheep dog and guard the good people of the world from the wolves?

.....organize every student at every university, every worker at every plant, and demand of your government that they refuse any help from America, or any of America's allies. Make sure you demand it...it's your right. As you say, you're free. Transition into a total isolationist country. You're free. Negotiate your own economic positions without leverage from Allies. Further, my father volunteered as an American soldier at the age of 17 during World War II. He knows the Netherlands well, but he doesn't talk about it. He will be 83 this weekend and I would love to see him on his birthday. Hopefully I will see him next year. We talk and he understands why I do what it is that I do. Thank him for your freedoms in your prayers tonight.

I also serve in the Armed Forces (A1C) and am proud every day to wear the uniform- not because my job is to carry a gun and kill (I don't, unless they had it comming to them) but because in doing so I can protect my sons future and the future of millions of others around the world to do say and do what they want. Thank you for your service my brother, and God bless you wherever you may be! And to the people that do not have a common sense to look beyond their media and prejudices, I feel sorry for you and hope that the day never comes when you have to be proven wrong. I personally choose to "walk quietly and carry a big stick" :) GOD BLESS THE USA!!!

This showed no clear evidence of HIM making a mistake. If it was something as trite as the safety, the grenade would not have been activated, so it just looks like the RPG malfunctioned, with the timer on the grenade being activated and the launch failing. When your ass is safe from harm it is extremely callous to cheer his death -- especially when you've no clue what his target was--if any. You can bet your "civilized" ass that, with human nature, the mighty would run roughshod over the weak. Does the genocide in Darfur ring any bells with you crackpots? The Sudanesse government doesn't want help to stop the slaughter; and it's not because they are putting a stop to it. Killing isn't "a joy", but as cruel as many human beings are, some times that is the lesser evil.
