When you wanted to edit a word document have you ever encountered a dialog box telling you that you can open it in 'Read Only' mode since another user on the network is using it? Want to find out who it is? If you cant find, then you can get nasty and disconnect the connection!!! Its very easy!!!

If you have administrator priviledges for a REMOTE MACHINE which is used as a basic repository for many users and you need to disconnect users using files (of course this is not recommended unless really required) you can hit the following command.

OPENFILES /Disconnect /S [system] /U [username] /P [password] /ID [*]
