Motorcycle Crash in Race Track

The (most) injured track worker was Rob Dages. Yes, he lived. The relevant parts of the story are (lifted from his account and news):

Rob was seriously injured on Saturday, July 7, 2001, when he was struck by a rider in Turn 2 at (New Hampshire International Speedway) Loudon, while clearing the track of a previous incident. Rob's actual injuries are: fractured pelvis and tailbone, bruised ribs (one broken), an impressively ugly gash in the left forearm, an equally scary gash in the head, and lots of bumps and bruises. The other track worker Rick Martin suffered only bruises and scrapes. The rider who hit the two, Rick Currier suffered similar non-fatal injuries.

in all due respect i hate that crashes are what brings peoples atention to motorcycle racing but there should have been at least one corner worker waving a yellow flag befor the blind part of the turn.. bad corner work = bad situation worse... i do think its funny how some say hes dead and the other paralized where others who sound like they know what they are talking about say different.... thats why you try to just keep the rubber side down.

The driver that crashed into the marshels should not be brought to manslaughter charge because he was being blocked by the driver in front of him and did not see the marshels and bike wreck until it was too late. Look carefully at the video before the second crash happens.

Seriously, you would have gone out there and done the same thing to get the motorcycle out of the way before MORE racers get hurt. Dont criticize them like "OH WHAT A STUPID BITCH! HOW CAN THEY BE SO F**kING STUPID AND WALK OUTSIDE!!".. Now, its their job to set the race going smoothly without any interruptions.. And if your also criticizing the second racer who crashed into the 2 workers, Why dont you try controlling the F**king bike when its travelling at 150mph dip S**t That accident was unstoppable practically... cuz it was at a late apex cornering and its very likely that if you dont react fast; you'd crash

and yes the middle guy died, and the motorist that delivered the fatal hit its paralized.

This is one of those videos that should be deleted, that is a sad moment, and i am really sure that the relatives of the victims would not like to see this

damn... that's a real bad luck, they should've stopped the race immediately. I know there's something bad going to happen when I see those two mechanics ran to the middle of the race.
