A bunch of really cute kids I ran across during my travels in rural China. They live in Xishuanbanna, a region within Yunnan province which borders Burma. These kids live an incrediblely impoverished life, but still manage to laugh and play like every other kid on the planet. I ended up running across their village during a cross-country motorcycle trip in search of an old buddhist temple. We ended up getting some really bad directions and wound up in this tiny village. The children's parents are brick makers and farmers. They are partially subsidized by the Chinese government, but still struggle to make enough to feed and clothe their children.

Anyway, that's enough babbling. Just watch the movie.
