i have been..
tasered as part of my basic police academy training... 1/2 sec blast is nothing. we had to take the full 5 seconds. and yes you have to be tasered to be able to carry a taser only because that way you understand what the device does and how effective it is. I tell you what though i would rather be tasered again then pepper sprayed again

I live in Lethbridge, but usually the cops here are pretty smart, generaly not dumb enough to shock a person on TV while grinning like christmas came early... But whatever. Cute little girl too, he should not have done that.

Although they are said to be non leathal people with heat conditions have died from the taser.

If I would have been the reported i would not have put the electordes right OVER MY HEART. I mean put it on your stomach or legs or somewhere but not over your most vital organ that uses electrical inpulses to work!

  there has only been one documented case of death caused by taser. It was not a heart condition. It was caused by the fall. Volts are not dangerous, Amps are. While the taser shoots 50,000 volts, the suspect only receives about 1200 and the amperage is below one half amp.

  in the US (or atleast in Arizona) they have to get hit 3 times with that sombitch. I have also been hit with a civilian version of it, (accidentally got myself with it) and I can't imagine how much worse THOSE feel!
