tasered as part of my basic police academy training... 1/2 sec blast is nothing. we had to take the full 5 seconds. and yes you have to be tasered to be able to carry a taser only because that way you understand what the device does and how effective it is. I tell you what though i would rather be tasered again then pepper sprayed again

I live in Lethbridge, but usually the cops here are pretty smart, generaly not dumb enough to shock a person on TV while grinning like christmas came early... But whatever. Cute little girl too, he should not have done that.

If I would have been the reported i would not have put the electordes right OVER MY HEART. I mean put it on your stomach or legs or somewhere but not over your most vital organ that uses electrical inpulses to work!

Before a police officer can carry and use a tazer they have to experience the shock for themselves. I wonder if it's in the job discription when they join up?
