Ok, I don't know what Michael Bay movies you have been watching but he has had some kick ass movies:

Bad Boys
Bay Boys II
The Rock
Armageddon (no spell check)
Then he has done a good job was far as the sequences go:
Pearl Harbor
The Island

Besides being a fan of Transformers, I am seeing it because he is directing, plus he has Steven Speilberg in his corner---this movie should be good.

  I always thought that the cartoons sucked ass so...
  what? Are there good and bad transformers fighting on Earth? Or are there only evil transformers?
  I thought Optimus Prime was a good guy,
  Anyways, the Island sucked. It had bad action siquences, too many close ups so you couldn t get a clear view of what is going on.

  The good guys Optimus Prime the Autobots with Bumblebee, jazz, and the other guy Megatron who was a decepticon with skyscreemer blackout, and smasher... They are fighting for the cube that when megatron gets it the whole planet will be a robot and optimus leader of autobots fight them to save human kinds... More than meets the eye.... must see film

I played with transformers.. i was 8 years old..they didn't look so impressive.. d'oh ! Inconsistent movie full of CGI.. stupid storyboard.. some hero will destroy them in the end.. as usual. This trailer has already showed the best scenes..

He's never made any good movie.
Never.
All he knows how to do is take an original idea, and screw it up. His IMDB profile says it all. Nothing but trash.

This movie will go the route of George Lucas and the Star Wars fame. Michael Bay has taken what was already a good design concept for the robots, and turned them into things that no one will recognize.

Of the semi-recognizable bots, Prime has HOT PINK flames? Bumble Bee is a mustang?

And to top it off, it looks like he's once again pulling a 'Pearl Harbor' - revolving the story around a small group of inconscequential characters that none of us will give two craps about, while trying to use the high tech graphics to dazzle the audience, and distract them from realizing that they are watching a giant pile of 'can't direct or produce to save his life' Michael Bay anti-genius.
