I recorded this myself with a Underwater digital camera, he was actually chasing my goody bag so I gave him a crab to eat and he went for it.

Crabs must be tight. You can clearly see his boy come in from the side at 30 seconds to try and rescue him. Thems true homies.

Where was this video taken?

I used to dive the waters by Quadra Island in British Columbia. I have seen many wolf eels. That one was just a baby. We used to break open sea urchins and feed the eggs to the eels. I remember a notorious wolf eel named "Captain Crunch". He never came out of his cave when divers were around, but you could see his head... about 18-20 inches around. Apparently about 10-12 feet long....

Anyhow, great post.. brought back some good memories.
